Los Cristianos PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course

This course spans either 2 or 3 days, depending on the group, and involves 1 dive in confined waters and 4 open water dives.

Day 1: Theory and practice in confined water

On the first day, we meet at 9:30 am for an introduction with the instructor. The session covers the function of diving equipment, underwater communication, and basic safety regulations. Theoretical knowledge is put into practice as we dive in confined waters, where we'll learn to set up equipment, clear our masks, and control buoyancy. The first day concludes between 3 pm and 4 pm.

Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water

On the second and third days, we meet again at 9:30 am. With an instructor, we'll learn to swim in open water and become independent divers. The course includes 4 dives, reaching a depth of 60 feet (18 meters). During these dives, participants can observe South Tenerife's marine flora and fauna. The course concludes with the awarding of the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification between 4 pm and 6 pm on the final day.
