Los Cristianos PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course

The course, designed for those wanting to learn scuba diving, occurs on the Los Cristianos promenade. It lasts either 2 or 3 days, depending on the group size, and consists of 1 dive in confined waters and 4 open water dives.

Day 1: Theory and practice in confined water

On the first day, we meet at 9:30 am to start the lesson with the instructor. Participants will learn the function of diving equipment, underwater communication, and basic safety regulations.

The theory will be put into practice with a confined water dive, where participants will learn to set up equipment, clear the mask, and control buoyancy. The first day's lessons conclude between 3 pm and 4 pm.

Days 2 and 3: Dives in open water

On the second and third days, we reconvene at 9:30 am. Under instructor supervision, participants will learn to swim in open water, completing a total of 4 dives, reaching a depth of 60 feet (18 meters).

During the dives, participants will observe South Tenerife's marine flora and fauna. Certification, the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Certification, will be awarded between 4 pm and 6 pm on the final day.
