Adeje Coast Lava Tongue Snorkelling

On the Adeje Coast Lava Tongue Snorkelling activity, participants will explore Southern Tenerife's coast and seabed, learning about the island's formation and observing solidified magma.

At your selected time, we will meet at Marina del Sur in Las Galletas. Following this, we will board the boat for a crossing that offers views of Southern Tenerife's coastline, particularly focusing on Costa Adeje's lava tongues. Throughout the journey, we will discuss the volcanic processes contributing to the island's landscape.

To explore the lava tongues effectively, snorkelling equipment will be provided. Participants will enter the sea to see the submerged formations and learn how the island’s volcanic activity has shaped them over time. In addition to the lava formations, the snorkelling experience will include observing marine flora and fauna, with guidance on identifying various endemic species of the Canary Islands.

The activity lasts 2 hours before returning to the starting point.
