Adeje Coast Lava Tongue Snorkelling

During the Adeje Coast Lava Tongue Snorkelling activity, participants will explore the coastline and seabed of Southern Tenerife. The tour begins at a scheduled time at Marina del Sur in Las Galletas. Attendees will board a boat for a scenic crossing while receiving information about the area.

The boat will sail through the Atlantic Ocean, offering views of Southern Tenerife's coastline, particularly focusing on the lava tongues of Costa Adeje. Throughout the voyage, the guides will explain the volcanic processes that formed the island's landscape.

To properly explore the lava tongues, snorkelling equipment will be provided, and participants will enter the sea to observe the underwater formations. This activity allows for an understanding of how the volcanic lava has interacted with the ocean over time.

In addition to the lava tongues, participants will have the opportunity to observe the marine flora and fauna, as well as learn to identify various endemic species of the Canary Islands.

The activity concludes after 2 hours, returning to the starting point.
