Looking for a unique experience in Arouca? On this canyoning tour of the Paiva River, we will enjoy a day in Arouca Geopark, a notable natural area in Portugal!

Paiva River Canyoning Tour

At 9.30 am, we will meet in front of the Câmara Municipal de Arouca to start the canyoning activity along the Paiva River. We have a day full of adventures ahead of us!

First, we will walk for 30 minutes until we reach the bank of this river within the Arouca Geopark. Once there, we will distribute the canyoning equipment and briefly go over the basic safety guidelines for the tour. Ready?

After reviewing these rules, we will enter the canyons of the Paiva River to rappel, swim, and dive. The bravest participants will have the opportunity to jump from heights of 7, 10, or 12 meters.

During the tour, we will encounter waterfalls, natural pools, and slides formed by water erosion.

We will conclude the canyoning activity at 3.30 pm back at the meeting point.
