Paiva Valley Tour (3 hours)

At the chosen time, we will meet on the banks of the Paiva River to begin an exciting jeep tour of the Paiva Valley. Prepare for adventure.

We will board the jeeps and explore the Paiva Valley, guided by informative explanations about the vegetation and wildlife in the area. We will learn about the famous wooden walkways of the Paiva Passages, a notable hiking route in Northern Portugal.

This three-hour tour allows time to relax and stroll through the valley. We will observe the Aguieiras Waterfall and visit the Geological Interpretation Center of Canelas for insights into the site's history.

After the jeep tour, we will return to the starting point.

Serra da Freita Tour (3.5 hours)

For this tour, we will meet at the designated time at Parque de Arouca to start a jeep tour over the Serra da Freita, which is over 1000 meters (3,280 feet) above sea level.

We will explore the local geology and view Frecha da Mizarela, one of the largest waterfalls in Portugal. The tour includes a visit to the Pedras Boroas and Pedras Parideiras Interpretative Centre and offers majestic views of the Arouca Valley.

The tour will conclude after 3.5 hours as we return to the meeting point in Arouca.
