Embark on a hiking expedition to Praia Grande and Janela do Paraíso, where you will discover two remarkable destinations nestled within the state of Rio de Janeiro. This excursion is ideal for those eager to experience the stunning coastline around Arraial do Cabo.

Hiking Tour of Praia Grande & Janela do Paraíso

Our journey begins at 8 am, gathering near the Flávia Alessandra statue on the western side of Arraial do Cabo. With anticipation, we will set out to explore these remarkable locales!

The trail spans 4.6 kilometers (2.8 miles) and will initially guide us to Praia Grande, a beloved bay known for its stunning turquoise waters and pristine white sands, creating a captivating scene that's perfect for photography.

Subsequently, we will make our way to the fishermen's pier at the southern end of Praia Grande. This charming area, dotted with rustic sailor houses and boats, remains an untouched treasure away from the usual tourist paths.

Continuing our adventure, we will arrive at Bomba, recognized as one of the leading diving spots in the area. Our journey will also take us to Janela do Paraíso, an abandoned structure boasting windows that showcase breathtaking panoramic views of the Arraial do Cabo coastline.

As we proceed along the hiking trail, we will encounter other scenic viewpoints, including Vigia and Pedra Mágica, ultimately reaching the Gruta do Céu sea cave. Here, you will be granted 30 minutes to relax, swim, and bask in the sun at Selvagem beach.

We will wrap up our adventure at noon, returning to the original meeting place beside the Flávia Alessandra statue.
