South Lanzarote Excursion

  • 6 - 8 Stunden

Dazzle your senses with the volcanic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park with this guided tour of the south of Lanzarote, one of the most charming areas of the island.

South Lanzarote Excursion Itinerary

After picking you up from your hotel in Lanzarote at the designated time, we proceed to the Timanfaya National Park, a must-see in Lanzarote.

We will follow the 'Volcano Route' to take in exceptional landscapes. This area features geothermic demonstrations on Hilario islet, where underground temperatures reach between 400 and 600 degrees centigrade, leading to the name "Mountains of Fire." An optional camel ride is available for those who wish to experience the terrain differently.

Next, we visit La Geria, the wine-growing area. This volcanic soil produces the Malvasía grape, known for distinctive wines. We will tour a winery to explore Lanzarote wine and taste a small glass to appreciate its flavor. Following this, you will have free time for lunch before continuing our route through southern Lanzarote.

The tour stops at El Golfo, where we can view the Charco de los Clicos or "The Green Lagoon", noted for its green coloration due to algae.

We then return to the hotel areas in the evening after approximately six to eight hours of adventure.
