Discover the most famous fruit of the Canary Islands with this guided tour of the Banana World. We'll visit a plantation in Arucas, access the interpretation center, and enjoy an exquisite tasting.

Banana World Guided Tour

At the indicated time we'll meet at the entrance of the Banana World, a plantation that offers visitors a complete look into how the most characteristic fruit of the Canary Islands is produced.

During the tour, we'll walk around the farm and see up to 30 different types of banana trees, with origins including Indonesia. We'll explain the characteristics of the Canary Island banana and learn about daily crop care in Gran Canaria.

We'll visit the old farmhouse from 1804, which houses an interpretation center to further explore local banana culture.

After learning about this fruit, we'll enter the Banana World store for a tasting that includes a banana and various products made from it, such as jams, cakes, and shots.

The guided tour lasts 45 minutes. Afterward, participants may leave or stay longer to explore the farm at their leisure.
