Explore the iconic fruit of the Canary Islands through this informative journey in the Banana World. A visit to a plantation located in Arucas awaits, featuring an insightful interpretation center and a delightful tasting experience.

Guided Tour of Banana World

At the designated meeting point, we will gather at the entrance of the Banana World, a plantation where you'll gain a comprehensive understanding of the production of the signature fruit of the Canary Islands.

Throughout the excursion, we will traverse the grounds, encountering up to 30 diverse banana varieties, some imported from distant places like Indonesia. Insights will be shared regarding the Canary Island banana as we discover the meticulous daily care taken for these crops in Gran Canaria.

Our journey will also take us to the historic farmhouse, constructed in 1804, which is home to an interpretation center designed to provide in-depth knowledge about the local banana heritage.

Once we have uncovered all the fascinating aspects of this remarkable fruit, we will proceed to the Banana World store. Here, a tasting session awaits, featuring bananas along with a variety of products crafted from this fruit. Prepare to sample jams, cakes, and even delightful shots!

After a 45-minute guided exploration, the visit to the Banana World will conclude. You may choose to depart or linger longer to further enjoy the plantation at your own pace. The choice is yours!
