Upon collecting you from your accommodation in Arusha, we'll embark on our first destination: the village of Mto Wa Mbu. Here, you'll experience Tanzanian culture up close in a community that represents around 120 distinct tribes.

This region thrives on agriculture—particularly rice and bananas—as well as cattle farming, making it common to see cows roaming near residences. The streets are alive with food stalls and local artisans showcasing their paintings.

After exploring Mto Wa Mbu, we’ll climb back into the 4x4 and journey toward Lake Manyara National Park. Designated as a Biosphere Reserve in 1981, this park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, which include semi-arid landscapes, wetlands, and forests of acacia and baobab trees.

As you venture through the park, you'll encounter a multitude of wildlife, including elephants, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, and more than 400 bird species. One of the park's remarkable spectacles is the presence of the King of the Jungle; Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its lions resting on tree branches, often gazing over their territory. Later in the afternoon, we’ll regroup at the vehicles and return you to your hotel in Arusha.
