Thinking of doing a safari near Arusha? Discover Lake Manyara National Park from a 4x4 with an English-speaking guide and drive through the village of Mto Wa Mbu to experience traditional Tanzanian life.

Lake Manyara Safari

After pickup from your hotel in Arusha, the first stop is the village of Mto Wa Mbu, home to nearly 120 different tribes. You will learn about Tanzanian culture, agriculture, and see local artists and food stalls in the area.

Then, we will continue to Lake Manyara National Park, designated a Biosphere Reserve in 1981, known for its diverse ecosystems including semi-arid areas, swampy spaces, and acacia and baobab forests.

The park hosts a variety of wildlife: elephants, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, baboons, and around 400 species of birds. Notably, the park is also inhabited by lions that climb trees, with guides providing insights on this behavior during the tour.

In the afternoon, we will return to our vehicles and take you back to your hotel in Arusha.
