Materuni Waterfalls Tour

Pick-up from your hotel in Arusha is at 8 am. We will drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the village of Materuni, where we will begin our trekking route to Materuni Waterfalls.

During the hour-long hike along lush trails, information about the flora and fauna of lower Mount Kilimanjaro will be provided. You will also observe the houses of the Chagga people residing in this area of Tanzania.

Upon arriving at the Materuni Waterfalls, you will have free time to admire the waterfall and take a dip in its pools.

After a picnic lunch, we will proceed to visit a coffee plantation where you will learn about coffee production, including the roasting process, and have the opportunity to taste a cup of local coffee.

Finally, we will return to the 4x4 for the trip back to your hotel in Arusha, arriving at approximately 5 pm.
