Materuni Waterfalls Tour

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8 am and drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the village of Materuni, where we'll start our trekking route to Materuni Waterfalls.

Walking along lush trails, we'll explain the flora and fauna of lower Mount Kilimanjaro. During our hour-long hike to the Materuni Waterfalls, we will pass by the houses of the Chagga, the local people.

Upon arriving at the Materuni Waterfalls, you will have free time to admire the waterfall, whose waters originate from the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro, and to take a dip in its pools.

After a picnic lunch, we will continue the excursion with a visit to a coffee plantation to learn about coffee production, including the roasting process, and taste local coffee.

Finally, we will return to the 4x4 to head back to your hotel in Arusha, arriving at approximately 5 pm.
