North Tanzania 6 Day Safari

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival, a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle will be ready to transport you to your accommodation in Arusha. Settle in and take some time to relax while you gaze at the stunning views of the surrounding wildlife.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

The adventure kicks off with a hearty breakfast at the hotel followed by a brief orientation with your guides, who will outline the safari itinerary. Afterward, we’ll embark on a two-hour drive to the renowned Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its large elephant population.

From the vantage point of our safari vehicle, you'll witness captivating scenes of elephants wandering gracefully among the baobab trees, embodying the spirit of Africa. We will also encounter the fascinating features of these trees that can grow up to thirty meters (98 feet) tall. Our day concludes at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Serengeti

As dawn breaks in Tarangire, we’ll enjoy breakfast while taking in the breathtaking landscape. Afterward, we’ll hop into the jeep, ready for some exhilarating driving games before departing for the iconic Serengeti.

During this day, we’ll set our sights on spotting the elusive African wildebeest. These migratory animals are constantly on the move in search of water across the savannah. We'll delve into their habits before retreating to a local hotel for dinner and rest.

Day 4: Serengeti - Ngorongoro

The fourth day begins early as we navigate through the African plains, heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Following our exploration, we’ll visit Odulpai Gorge, a significant archaeological site where ancient human remains were discovered dating back two million years.

After a lunch stop near Odulpai Gorge, our adventure continues in Ngorongoro as we search for giraffes, leopards, and various other wildlife. We’ll end the day with a peaceful night at the lodge, enjoying dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Ngorongoro - Arusha

The final day of our safari is dedicated to venturing through Ngorongoro Park. We will descend into the crater, enjoying a picnic amid the Lerai forest while looking for hippos in a nearby lake.

Our quest will also focus on spotting the rare black rhino native to this region of Tanzania. As the sun sets, we’ll return to our Arusha accommodation for a well-deserved farewell dinner.

Day 6: Departure from Arusha

After a final breakfast at the hotel and checking out, it’s time to bid farewell to the majestic African savannah. We will facilitate your transfer to the airport to conclude your safari experience.

Days 1 + 5 - Arusha: Maura Apartments & Lodges.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park: Nsya Lodge.

Days 3 + 4 - Serengeti: Golden Safari Camp.

Safari + 2 Days in Zanzibar

Enhance your safari journey with an optional add-on of two days in Zanzibar. This extension offers a chance to unwind in the serene surroundings of Stone Town, the island's picturesque main city, after six exhilarating days.

You’ll be escorted to the airport in Arusha for a flight to this stunning African destination, where you can enjoy the pristine beaches and explore the historic old town that embodies the oldest eastern city in Africa. Marvel at the blend of cultural influences as you navigate through its vibrant streets, and don't miss the opportunity to visit the House of Wonders, the former sultan's residence, and the Arab fort.

Following two days of relaxation, we will take you back to Zanzibar airport, where you will board your flight to either Dar-es-Salaam or Kilimanjaro airport.
