Cilento Coast Hike

At 9 am, we'll meet up in front of the Ascea Railway Station and set off on our hike along the Cilento Coast, located in the Campania region between the gulfs of Salerno and Policastro, a declared World Heritage Site.

We will walk along paths frequented by prestigious archaeologists, including François Lenormant, exploring ruins such as the 16th-century Telegraph Tower.

We will also experience the scent of the ginestra cilentina flower, characteristic of this area, as we navigate through tunnels carved into cliffs and discover hidden coves.

During the hike, we will climb to the Piano della Torre peak for panoramic views of the surroundings. Our hike will conclude with our return to Ascea at 12 noon.
