Cilento Coast Hike

Follow in the footsteps of famous archaeologists on our Cilento Coast Hike, accompanied by the scent of the fragrant Ginestra del Cilento flower.

Cilento Coast Hike

At 9 am, we'll meet in front of the Ascea Railway Station and set off on our hike along the Cilento Coast, a World Heritage Site in the Campania region, located between the gulfs of Salerno and Policastro.

Our path will take us through areas frequented by prestigious archaeologists, including François Lenormant, as we search for ruins, such as the 16th-century Telegraph Tower.

Along the way, the unique ginestra cilentina flowers will be a constant presence as we traverse tunnels carved into cliffs and explore hidden coves.

During the hike, we will ascend to the Piano della Torre peak for panoramic views of the landscape.

We will return to Ascea to complete our route by 12 noon.
