Arroyos y Esteros Private Day Trip

When booking, you may choose the private day trip that suits you best. Both options include pickup and drop off at your hotel, private transport, and a dedicated guide.

Arroyos y Esteros (6 hours)

At 7 am, we will pick you up from your hotel to travel to Arroyos y Esteros, ideal for birdwatching and experiencing Paraguay's natural scenery. You will be guided by an ornithology expert as we explore the area's ecosystems.

During the tour, you will observe birds in the wetlands and grasslands, including wood and maguari storks, jabirus, Brazilian teals, whistling ducks, and numerous egrets and herons. We will also encounter IBA birds such as the bearded tachuri, odd-tailed tyrant, marsh seedeater, and dusky-throated seedeater. After 4 hours, we will return to your hotel in Asunción.

Arroyos y Esteros + San Bernardino (9 hours)

We will pick you up at 6 am and first travel to Arroyos y Esteros for the birdwatching activity. After the morning session, we will proceed to San Bernardino.

Upon arrival, you will have 1 hour of free time to eat. Then, we will continue to the main birdwatching location - Yapacarí National Park, where we will admire the large lake and learn how to spot various soaring birds.
