Asuncion and Jesuit Missions 6 Day Tour

Day 1: Asunción

Upon your arrival at Asuncion airport, you will be taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, you'll explore the capital of Paraguay, learning about its history from colonization to present day, and visit the Pettirossi market before returning to the hotel.

Day 2: Gold Circuit

After breakfast, you will tour the surroundings of the capital on the Gold Circuit, visiting Yaguaron Church, Caacupé, San Bernardino, and Lake Ycaparacaí. The day includes visits to Aregua for ceramics and Luque for filigree metalwork before returning to Asunción for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Jesuit Missions

Following breakfast, we will journey south to the Jesuit Missions, starting with San Ignacio. After a guided tour, you will head to Encarnación for the night by the Paraná River.

Day 4: Jesuit Missions

This day involves visiting 7 more evangelical villages recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and learning about the history of The Holy Trinity of the Paraná. The day concludes with a visit to a Yerba Mate Factory and an overnight stay in Ciudad del Este.

Day 5: Itaipú

After breakfast, visit Saltos del Monday Municipal Park, featuring waterfalls, followed by a stop at the Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam. The day ends in Asunción.

Day 6: Asunción

After breakfast, pack and you will be taken to the airport for your flight. This concludes the 6-day tour.
