Golden Circuit Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in downtown Asunción at 8 am, we'll set off to discover traditional Paraguayan culture along the Golden Circuit.

The tour will begin by learning about the Christian legacy in Paraguay. In San Lorenzo, we'll visit the Jesuit baroque church and in Yaguarón the church of San Buenaventura with its intricate interior. A highlight will be in Caacupé, known as the spiritual capital of the country.

The next stop is San Bernardino, with its German origins, situated on the shores of Ypacaraí Lake. You will have free time to explore before a 25-minute boat ride on the lake.

A midday buffet dinner will be provided. Afterward, we will continue to explore traditional Paraguayan handicrafts.

Next is Itauguá for traditional lace fabric ñandutí, followed by Areguá, home to the largest artisan market. The final stop is Luque, known for gold and silver filigree jewelry, where you can enjoy free time for shopping.

We will return to the capital, dropping you off at your hotel in Asunción at 6 pm.

Historic Gold Circuit

If passionate about history, you can select the Historic Gold Circuit at booking. This will combine Paraguayan history, tradition, and art with stunning landscapes.

The morning begins in Sapucai with its old train station and colonial houses. One stop will be in Yaguarón to visit the church of San Buenaventura. The tour continues in Pirayú, exploring the old town.

At Cerro León Camp, learn about the War of the Triple Alliance. The tour concludes in San Bernardino and Ypacaraí Lake, returning to Asunción at 6 pm.
