Our adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Asunción at 12:01 am, setting the stage for an exploration of the Jesuit Missions of Trinidad and Jesús de Tavarangüé. Here, you'll delve into the rich history of these Guaraní settlements established in the 17th century.

You'll relax in a comfortable private vehicle as we embark on a six-and-a-half-hour drive towards these historic sites. Along the way, enjoy the stunning tropical landscapes of Paraguay, with a scheduled stop for breakfast to refuel your energy.

Upon arrival at the Jesuit Missions of Santísima Trinidad del Paraná, recognized as the largest and most well-preserved Guaraní reduction in the nation, you will explore the layout of the village, featuring a central square and the most impressive temple constructed among the Jesuit reductions. This significance led to its designation as a World Heritage Site in 1993.

Our journey continues to the Jesús de Tavarangüé mission located in Itapúa. Notably, this site is where construction began on one of the grandest churches of the era, though it remained unfinished due to the Jesuit expulsion ordered by Charles III of Spain in 1768.

After the mission visits, we will head to the city of Encarnación, where a delightful buffet lunch or a complete menu awaits you at the Hotel Papillón de Bella Vista. The afternoon is yours to enjoy; take a leisurely walk along the Costanera, engage in some shopping, or simply relax at San José beach.

We conclude this enriching excursion at 6 pm, returning to Asunción, with an expected drop-off at your hotel by 11 pm.
