Lake Ypacaraí Tour
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Asuncion and then head to Lake Ypacaraí.
We'll arrive at San Bernardino, a well-known summer destination in Paraguay. Here, you'll find Lake Ypacaraí, known for inspiring love songs and poems. We'll navigate its calm waters in a small boat.
From the boat, we'll spot the Hotel del Lago, a 19th-century building that has hosted presidents such as Franklin D. Roosevelt and Charles de Gaulle. We'll dock to tour this hotel, learn about its history, and admire its architecture and furnishings.
Next, we'll take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we'll proceed with a guided tour of San Bernardino, exploring the city's avenues, squares, and main buildings.
Finally, we'll return to Asunción after 5 hours of sightseeing.
