Lake Ypacaraí Tour
At the specified time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Asuncion and proceed to Lake Ypacaraí.
Upon arrival at San Bernardino, a notable summer destination, you'll experience the renowned Lake Ypacaraí, a source of inspiration for many songs and poems. We will navigate its calm waters in a small boat.
From the boat, you will see the famous Hotel del Lago, a 19th-century building that has hosted figures such as Franklin D. Roosevelt and Charles de Gaulle. We will dock to tour the hotel and learn about its history while admiring its architecture and furnishings.
Afterward, we will break for lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, we will take a guided tour of San Bernardino, exploring the city’s avenues, squares, and main buildings.
Finally, we will return you to Asunción after 5 hours of sightseeing.
