Day Trip to Reposo del Yhaguy

Your adventure starts at 8 am, as we pick you up from your hotel in Asunción. We'll venture through the verdant landscapes of the Valenzuela region, setting the stage for an enriching experience.

On our route, we'll traverse towns renowned for their textile craftsmanship. A highlight will be our visit to Itauguá, where you can admire exquisite items crafted from ñandutí, alongside various lace and canvas products that include clothing and bed linens.

Subsequently, we'll pause in the vibrant city of Ypacaraí to enjoy its famed lake. Mid-morning, you will have the chance to savor breakfast at the Hotel Del Lago. Refreshed and revitalized, we’ll proceed to Caacupé to explore the impressive Basilica of Our Lady of Caacupé, revered as the patron saint of Paraguay.

Our next stop will be the Reposo del Yhaguy, a hotel facility nestled along the banks of the Yhaguy stream. Known for its crystal-clear waters, this venue offers an ideal setting to unwind. You’ll have ample time to enjoy lunch, take a swim, appreciate the waterfalls, and bask in the sun, all while surrounded by a serene and beautiful natural landscape.

At the end of the day, we will depart from Reposo del Yhaguy and return you to your hotel in Asunción, expected by around 8 pm.
