3 Night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor

No trip to Egypt would be complete without a cruise on the Nile. This 3-day cruise departs from Aswan and arrives in Luxor, the ancient capital of Thebes.

3 Night Nile Cruise

Day 1: Aswan

Pickup will be from Aswan Airport, the train station, or your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. The cruise boat will provide full room and board. The first visit is to the Temple of Philae followed by a local perfumery.

Day 2: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

After breakfast, an optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel is available. Then, the boat will sail to the Kom Ombo Temple at sunset, before continuing to Edfu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Edfu – Esna – Luxor

Following breakfast, the trip includes a visit to the Edfu Temple and then continues towards Esna to cross the floodgate. In Luxor, the Luxor and Karnak temples will be visited, with dinner and an overnight stay on the boat.

Day 4: Luxor

After breakfast, around 6 am, the tour will head to the nearby necropolises including the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. The tour concludes around 4:30 pm with a drop-off at Luxor airport or train station.

Two categories of boats are available:

5* Standard: MS Pioneer II, MS Mirage, MS Nile Delta, Miss Egypt, Beaurivage II, Grand Princess, Voyager, MS Jasimn, MS Grand Princess or similar.5* Premium: Royal Esadora, MS Zeina, MS Nile Dolphin, MS Tuya, Royal Princess, Crown Jewel, MS TiYi, MS Liberty, MS Renaissance, MS Stéphane, MS Jaz C. Jubilee, MS Nile Marquiz or similar.

The specific boat will be assigned one week prior to the cruise, with checks for arrival requirements based on category.

Price Info

The price is per person in a double room or cabin. Individual travelers will incur a supplement.Three-person bookings will be in a double room with an extra bed; separate rooms incur a supplement.

Changes to the Itinerary

The order of activities may vary by boat, but all listed activities will be conducted. Additional visits may be reserved from the boat.

Holiday Periods

From December 20 to January 2 and during Holy Week, refunds will not be issued for cancellations.

For accommodations not at the airport or train station, pickup locations depend on your accommodation's location in Aswan.

Western Aswan Island: Pickup at West Bank Ferry Terminal.Elefantina Island: Pickup at Kornish Al Nile KFC or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island: Pickup at West Bank Ferry Terminal.
