Abu Simbel Day Trip

On this day trip, we'll visit the astonishing temples of Abu Simbel, significant monuments in Egypt comparable to the pyramids of Giza.

Day Trip Details

The tour departs from Aswan at the specified time with pickup from your hotel or boat. Early morning departure allows us to arrive at the temples in the morning and avoid the midday heat, while enjoying the sunrise in the desert.

After a 3-hour journey, we will reach Abu Simbel, known for its two rock-excavated temples, one dedicated to Ramses II and the other to Nefertari. The construction took 20 years under Ramses II's supervision. The temples are well-preserved, having been buried until the 19th century.

The guided tour will last around 1 hour, allowing time to explore both temples and learn their history, including the relocation efforts made by Egypt with international assistance.

Following our visit, we’ll return to Aswan, arriving after approximately 7 to 8 hours.
