On this tour, we will explore significant historical achievements including the Philae Temple and the Unfinished Obelisk, while also viewing the Aswan Dam, a notable engineering project of the 20th century.

Itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel or boat before heading to the Aswan Dam.

This dam, completed in 1970, serves to protect Egypt from the Nile's annual flooding.

Next, we will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, located in a granite pit from the time of Queen Hatshepsut. It would have stood 42 meters tall and weighed 1,200 tonnes had it been completed.

Following this, we will proceed to Agilika Island, where the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is situated. This temple is one of the locations associated with the legends of Isis, Osiris, and Horus.

The tour concludes with a return to the starting point, approximately 5 hours after the initial pickup.

The activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan.

For those on the following islands, pickup will be from specific meeting points:

Aswan Island West: pickup from the Ferry Terminal in West Bank.Elefantina Island: pickup from KFC in Kornish Al Nile or the Egypt Telecom Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island: pickup from the Ferry Terminal in West Bank.

If your accommodation is outside the city center or not on the specified islands, you will need to reach one of the indicated meeting points.
