Enjoy a leisurely felucca ride along the River Nile and discover Elephantine Island?.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel or cruise ship in Aswan and head to the banks of Nile. Here, we'll board a felucca, a traditional Egyptian boat, and journey towards Elephantine Island, an area once holding great significance as a natural border between Egypt and Nubia.

During the boat tour of Elephantine Island , an English-speaking guide will provide historical insights. The island's name relates to its past as a key trading centre for ivory.

We will also visit the Khnun Temple externally, notable for its historical role in measuring the Nile's floods. Lastly, we'll sail past the Aswan Botanical Garden, revealing various endemic flowers and plants from Egypt.

We will then return to your hotel or cruise.
