Cross the River Nile on board a traditional felucca to discover Gharb Soheil, the authentic Nubian village displaying the daily life of the Nubians.

Day Trip Details

After pickup from your hotel or boat, we will proceed to a small port to board the boat for a Nile cruise. Upon crossing the Nile, you will have the opportunity to swim and relax on a golden beach, followed by a camel ride to Gharb Soheil, known as the Nubian Village, which is situated between southern Egypt and northern Sudan.

The Nubian Village is one of the oldest inhabited areas in Africa, featuring a rich history. In the village, you will visit the market, view local houses, taste traditional food and teas, enjoy local music, and experience a henna tattoo.

After the visit, we will return to the departure point after approximately 3 to 4 hours.

This activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan. If you are staying at the following locations, your pickup will be at the designated meeting points:

Western Aswan Island (Ghard Aswan): West Bank Ferry terminal.Elefantina Island (Guizirit Alfantin): In front of the Kornish Al Nile KFC restaurant or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): West Bank Ferry terminal.

If your lodging is outside the downtown area or the specified islands, we will arrange a meeting point for you.
