Nubian Village Day Trip

Cross the River Nile on board a traditional felucca to discover the village of Gharb Soheil, experiencing the daily life of the Nubians.

Day Trip Details

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or boat, followed by a short transfer to a port where we will board the boat for a Nile cruise. After crossing the Nile, there will be the opportunity to swim and relax on a beach. The adventure continues on camelback as we proceed to Gharb Soheil, also known as Nubian Village, a region with a rich history that dates back several centuries.

In the village, we will stroll through the market and visit some houses to explore their colorful façades. Guests will have the chance to try local food and traditional teas, enjoy local music, and experience a henna tattoo. After the visit, we will return along the same route, arriving at the departure point about 3 to 4 hours later.

Pickup Service

This activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan. If your lodging is in specific locations, you will be picked up at designated meeting points:

Western Aswan Island (Ghard Aswan): pickup at the West Bank Ferry terminal.Elefantina Island (Guizirit Alfantin): pickup in front of Kornish Al Nile KFC or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): pickup at the West Bank Ferry terminal.

If your accommodation is not in the downtown area or the mentioned islands, we will meet you at the specified meeting points.
