Experience the captivating history of Egypt through a unique sound and light show at the Temple of Philae.

Description

We'll pick you up at your hotel or boat in Aswan at the designated time and set off toward the Temple of Philae. To reach this stunning temple, we'll journey by air-conditioned vehicle to the banks of the Nile River and embark on a falucca, a traditional wooden sailboat. We'll cross the Nile's waters to arrive at the island of Agilkia. Upon disembarking, you'll see why this temple is often referred to as the "Pearl of the Nile." It is one of Egypt's most preserved temples.

Accompanied by the deities Isis and Osiris, whose tale of love and tragedy we will explore, we will witness a captivating light show that animates the temple's walls over two and a half hours. After the show, we will board the boat and return to your hotel or cruise ship, concluding a total of four hours.

Hotel pickups

This activity includes pickup from hotels, hostels, and apartments in Aswan City. If your hotel or boat is located on one of the islands of Aswan, pickup will occur at designated meeting points:

West Aswan Island (Gharb Aswan): Pickup at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.Elephantine Island (Guizirit Alfantin): Pickup at the KFC restaurant in Kornish Al Nile or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): Pickup at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.

If your hotel or boat in Aswan is neither in the city center nor on the mentioned islands, you will need to go to one of the meeting points listed above.
