Temple of Philae Sound & Light Show

Experience the captivating history of Egypt through a unique sound and light show at the Temple of Philae.

Description

We will pick you up at your hotel or boat in Aswan and proceed toward the Temple of Philae at the scheduled time.

Traveling by air-conditioned vehicle, we will reach the banks of the Nile River and board a falucca, a traditional wooden sailboat. We will cross the Nile until we arrive at the island of Agilkia, home to the Temple of Philae, known as the "Pearl of the Nile" and one of Egypt's most well-preserved temples.

Accompanied by the deities Isis and Osiris, who narrate a tale of love and tragedy, we will explore the temple. Over two and a half hours, their story and Egyptian mythology will be brought to life through a captivating light show that animates the temple's walls. This is an unforgettable experience.

After the show, we will return by boat to your hotel or cruise ship, completing a total duration of four hours.

West Aswan Island (Gharb Aswan): pickup at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.Elephantine Island (Guizirit Alfantin): pickup at the KFC restaurant in Kornish Al Nile or Telecom Egypt Office on El Sadat Road.Suhil Island (Guizirit Suhil): pickup at the West Bank Ferry Terminal.

If your accommodation is outside the city center or not on the mentioned islands, you will need to go to one of the specified meeting points.
