Explore Classical Greece on a full-day trip to the Corinth Canal, Epidaurus and Mycenae, discovering the history and culture of the Argolis peninsula.

Day Trip Details

At the specified time, meet at 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street and depart for the Corinth Canal. A short stop will be made to appreciate this engineering marvel while learning about the history of Corinth without visiting the city.

Next, travel to Epidaurus, birthplace of Asclepius, son of Apollo. Your English-speaking guide will lead you to the Ancient Theatre, renowned for its preservation and acoustics. You will then have free time to visit the Archaeological Museum to explore ancient medical practices tied to the Temple of Asclepius.

After visiting the museum, continue the journey through fertile valleys to Mycenae, a key center of Greek civilization. Tour its archaeological site, including the famed Agamemnon's citadel, where parts of the Iliad and the Odyssey will be discussed.

Following visits to the Lion’s Gate and Tomb of Agamemnon, return to Athens. The total duration is approximately 10 hours from the initial pickup.

Optional Lunch

The tour includes an optional lunch at Nafplio. This 3-course meal features a starter, a main course of traditional Greek food, and dessert, with drinks paid separately.
