Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will gather at Athanasiou Diakou Street, number 26, setting off toward the Corinth Canal. Here, a brief stop will allow us to admire one of engineering's remarkable achievements.

Afterward, we will proceed to the Argolid region, home to Mycenae, one of the pivotal hubs of ancient Greek civilization. Upon arrival, we’ll explore the archaeological site that was once the legendary kingdom of Agamemnon, evoking the vivid imagery of Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.

Our visit will include significant landmarks like the Lion's Gate and the Tomb of Agamemnon. We will then travel to Nafplion, the first capital of modern Greece. Here, you'll enjoy 1.5 hours of leisure time for lunch and to wander the picturesque town. Take a moment to appreciate the formidable Palamidi fortress and the Bourtzi castle. Afterwards, stroll through the delightful streets of the town center.

Once you've recharged, we will set out for Epidaurus, the legendary birthplace of Asclepius, the deity associated with healing. The highlight of this location is undoubtedly the Epidaurus Theater. For those who prefer not to partake in the guided tour, you will have one hour of free time while the guided members explore the site.

As the day concludes, we will return to Athens, with an anticipated arrival time of 10 hours after our initial departure.
