Join us on this day excursion to Delphi from Athens, where we delve into one of the most renowned cities of the ancient world. The archaeological site of Delphi stands as a hallmark of Greece, offering an extraordinary opportunity to uncover both the mythology and history of this remarkable country.

Details of the Day Trip

At the agreed-upon time, our team will collect you from the meeting point in Athens to commence our journey to Delphi, an extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage site that boasts the illustrious Temple of Apollo.

During our travels, we will smoothly glide through Boeotia and Thebes without any stops, pausing briefly in Livadeia to allow you the chance to utilize the facilities or enjoy a coffee break. Approximating 3 hours from our departure point in Athens, we will reach Delphi, famously regarded in ancient times as the “navel of the world.”

Upon arrival, we will dedicate 2.5 hours to explore key highlights including the Monument to the Kings of Argos, the Treasury, and the iconic Temple of Apollo. Following this, we will visit the Archaeological Museum to admire its treasures, such as the renowned Charioteer of Delphi.

After this enriching experience, you will have 1.5 hours of free time for lunch. Once you've had a chance to recharge, we'll make our way back to Athens, arriving at the initial meeting point approximately 10 hours after our start.

Audio-Guided Tour at 8:15 am

This alternative option features a pickup from Athanasiou Diakou 26, Athina 117 43, Greece, at the assigned time.

Like the previous choice, this also includes an audio guide while exploring Delphi, paired with support from an English-speaking tour assistant on the vehicle.

Note: Neither of the audio guide tours covers lunch or admission fees. The entry tickets cost 20 EUR for adults and need to be booked for the time slot between 1 pm and 2 pm. EU citizens under 25 and non-EU citizens under 18 can enter free of charge by showing their ID at the ticket office. Adults over 65 are eligible for a 50% discount.
