Inaugurated in 1986, the Museum of Cycladic Art is a key archaeological institution in Athens, showcasing over 3,000 pieces from Greece, Cyprus, and the Cyclades, with a focus on Cycladic Art from the 3rd millennium BC.

The museum's permanent collection spans three floors, each dedicated to a specific theme:
Cycladic culture: Featuring weapons, ceramics, figures, jugs, and other artifacts from the Aegean islands during the Copper and Bronze Ages.Ancient Greek art: Presenting the origins and evolution of ancient Greece, recognized as a key civilization and the birthplace of democracy.Cypriot art: Highlighting the history of ancient communities that settled in Cyprus, a critical location in the Eastern Mediterranean.
