North Georgia Wine Tour

Travel to North Georgia and discover the region's winemaking tradition. You'll visit three wineries and their vineyards, as well as exploring the city of Helen.

Description

We'll meet at Trader Vic's restaurant in Atlanta at 8:45 am and board a comfortable bus for a road trip to North Georgia, a region known for its top-quality wine. We’ll travel north of Atlanta for an hour and a half to explore three local wineries and vineyards, tasting Georgian wines.

The first stop will be Kaya Vineyard & Winery, where we'll spend an hour learning about the wine production process. Our second stop will be The Cottage Vineyard & Winery, where we'll enjoy another hour surrounded by the vineyard. Finally, we'll visit CeNita Vineyards, known for grape harvesting to produce high-quality wines.

To conclude the day, we'll stop for an hour in Helen, a Bavarian-style city with a unique landscape, known for its vineyards and Unicoi State Park. You'll have free time to explore the city at your own pace.

At the end of the day, we will return to Atlanta, arriving back by 6:15 pm.
