Travel to North Georgia and discover the region's great winemaking tradition. You'll visit three wineries and their vineyards, as well as exploring the city of Helen.

Description

We'll meet at Trader Vic's restaurant in Atlanta at 8:45 am and board a comfortable bus that will take us on a road trip to North Georgia, a region renowned for its variety of top-quality wine. Is it really as great as they say? We'll taste it for ourselves!

Our journey north of Atlanta takes about an hour and a half, and we'll explore three local wineries and vineyards, revealing the authentic taste of Georgian wines. The first stop will be Kaya Vineyard & Winery, where we'll spend an hour learning about the process of harvesting and producing wine.

The second stop will be The Cottage Vineyard & Winery, where we'll enjoy another hour surrounded by a spectacular vineyard in North Georgia. Finally, we'll visit the CeNita Vineyards, a beautiful area specializing in grape harvesting to produce top-quality products.

To complete this incredible trip, we'll stop for an hour in Helen, a Bavarian-style city with a unique landscape, known for its vineyards and the beautiful Unicoi State Park. You'll have free time to explore the city at your own pace.

At the end of the day, we'll return to Atlanta, arriving back at the starting point by 6:15 pm.

You will embark on a guided winery tour in North Georgia, beginning with a meeting point at Trader Vic's restaurant in Atlanta at 8:45 am. The comfortable bus departs promptly, providing a scenic journey north of Atlanta.

The tour lasts approximately 9.5 hours, including travel time. You will visit three wineries: Kaya Vineyard & Winery, The Cottage Vineyard & Winery, and CeNita Vineyards, with each stop allowing for one hour to explore the vineyard and learn about wine production. You will also have an hour of free time in the city of Helen.
