Travel to North Georgia and discover the region's winemaking tradition. You'll visit three wineries and their vineyards, as well as exploring the city of Helen.
Description
We'll meet at Trader Vic's restaurant in Atlanta at 8:45 am and board a comfortable bus for a road trip to North Georgia, known for its top-quality wine. The journey will take an hour and a half.
Our first stop will be Kaya Vineyard & Winery, where we'll spend an hour learning about the wine production process. Next, we will visit The Cottage Vineyard & Winery for another hour surrounded by a vineyard. Our final stop is CeNita Vineyards, known for grape harvesting to produce quality wines.
We will conclude the trip with an hour in Helen, a Bavarian-style city with unique landscapes, including Unicoi State Park. You will have free time to explore.
At the end of the day, we'll return to Atlanta, arriving back by 6:15 pm.
