North Georgia Wine Tour

Travel to North Georgia and discover the region's great winemaking tradition. You'll visit three wineries and their vineyards, as well as exploring the city of Helen.

Description

We'll meet at Trader Vic's restaurant in Atlanta at 8:45 am and board a comfortable bus for a road trip to North Georgia, known for its quality wine. We will taste the offerings ourselves.

After an hour and a half journey north of Atlanta, we will explore three local wineries and vineyards. The first stop is Kaya Vineyard & Winery, where we will spend an hour learning about the process of harvesting and producing wine.

Our second stop will be The Cottage Vineyard & Winery, where we will spend another hour surrounded by a vineyard. Finally, we'll visit the CeNita Vineyards, focusing on grape harvesting for high-quality products.

We'll conclude the day with an hour in Helen, a Bavarian-style city known for its vineyards and the scenic Unicoi State Park. You will have free time to explore the city.

At the end of the day, we will return to Atlanta, arriving back by 6:15 pm.
