Bay of Islands Day Trip

Travel to the northernmost part of Queensland for a day trip to the Bay of Islands, including a boat trip.

Day Trip Details

Pickup will be from your hotel in Auckland, followed by a road trip north to Far North, the northernmost part of New Zealand.

After approximately 3.5 hours, the first stop will be the town of Paihia, the main town of the Bay of Islands.

We'll board a boat to cruise the turquoise waters, seeking attractions such as the Hole in the Rock and aiming to spot dolphins inhabiting the bay.

A cruise of the Bay of Islands includes a stop at Urupukapuka Island for about 1 hour, allowing time for a swim in the crystal clear waters and relaxation on the beach. An adventurous option is to climb to the top of the island for panoramic views of the bay.

After 4.5 hours of sailing, we'll return to the departure pier to conclude the boat ride.

Following the cruise, we will return to Auckland, dropping you back at your hotel 12 hours after the start of the trip.
