Discover one of the most iconic movie sets in the world as well as one of New Zealand's main tourist attractions in one day on this trip to Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves.

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in the centre of Auckland before setting off on a two-hour journey to Matamata.

Upon arrival, we'll explore the landscapes of Hobbiton, featuring Hobbit Holes. We will learn about the filming of "The Lord of The Rings" saga and see iconic elements such as Bilbo Baggins' home, the Mill, and the Green Dragon Inn, where you can enjoy a specially brewed beverage. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to visit one of the Hobbit Holes.

Next, we will head to Waitomo to visit its famous caves. You will experience a boat ride along the underground river while admiring the cave walls illuminated by glowworms, creating a starry night effect.

At the end of the trip, we will return to Auckland, with the total duration of the activity being between 11 and 12 hours.
