On this guided tour of Austin, we'll discover the history and the most emblematic alleys and monuments of the center of Texas' capital.
Description
We will meet at the specified time in front of Jo's Coffee. The tour will commence with a walk through the historic center of Austin.
As we proceed along Congress Avenue, you will head toward one of the city's key landmarks, the Texas Capitol.
Before viewing this impressive structure, we will pass by the historic Speakeasy bar. Here, we will share before and after images of this area of Austin.
Continuing along the avenue, we will arrive at the Capitol, which is bigger than the Capitol in Washington DC.
After appreciating this monument, built in 1888 in neo-Renaissance style, we will stop at the Moody Theatre, a modern live music venue that hosts approximately 100 concerts annually, with a capacity for 2750 people.
After a stroll lasting between one hour and 15 minutes to one hour and 30 minutes, we will conclude our guided tour of Austin at the starting point.
