Experience the best of San Antonio on this small group tour of the River City from Austin. We'll explore the Alamo, visit the Spanish colonial missions, and enjoy views of the city on a river cruise and from the Tower of the Americas.

Tour Details

We will pick you up from your hotel in Austin and embark on a 1 hour and 15-minute drive to San Antonio. Upon arrival, our first stop will be The Alamo, where we will take a guided tour of the courtyard and learn about the 1836 Battle of the Alamo, viewing significant weapons and fortifications, including the 16-pounder cannon. Afterwards, we will explore the gardens on the historic grounds.

Next, we will visit Mission San Jose, the largest and most visited of the city's four southernmost Spanish Colonial Missions.

Then, we will take an elevator ride 190 m (623 ft) to the Tower of the Americas for panoramic views of the city from the Observation Deck.

Following this, we will cruise for 35 minutes along the River Walk, a 15-mile (24 km) urban waterway, on a silent electric boat, admiring the architecture and local culture.

After 7 hours together, we will return to your hotel.
