Mustafapa?a, Sobessos + So?anli Valley Tour

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cappadocia between 9 am and 9:30 am to begin the tour of the region.

First, we will visit Mustafapa?a, known as an ancient Greek city for its ties to Orthodox history and its involvement in the Turkish War of Independence.

The next location is Sobessos, located near Sahinefendi. This site, discovered in 2002, features remains of Roman civic structures such as the baths, the agora, the basilica, and the bouleuterion.

After Sobessos, you will have an hour of free time for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Following lunch, we will travel to the So?anli valley, known for its rock-hewn churches of various architectural styles. A short hike will allow you to explore these churches and their frescoes.

We will also visit the Keslik Monastery, where frescoes are visible only by torchlight. The tour concludes with a visit to Avanos, renowned for its handicrafts, and an opportunity to try pottery in a workshop.

We will return you to your hotel in Cappadocia between 4 pm and 4:30 pm.
