Aveiro Beaches Tour

On this tour of the beaches of Aveiro, we'll visit two coastal emblems: Praia da Barra and Praia da Costa Nova do Prado.

Visit Aveiro's Best Beaches

The beaches are a main attraction of this city in northern Portugal. We will meet at the indicated time at Rua de João Mendoça to board a minibus for the tour.

Our first stop is Praia da Costa Nova do Prado, known for its colourful coquette-style houses and extensive beach along the Atlantic with fine sand, making it a popular summer destination.

Next, we will visit Praia da Barra, recognized by its red and white lighthouse, a regional symbol. The beach features tranquil waters and wooden walkways.

The tour will also include visits to the salt mines, the University, and the Maritime Port, where we will learn about the region's history and coastal legends.

After 75 minutes of sightseeing, we'll return to the starting point and conclude the tour.
