On this tour of the beaches of Aveiro, we'll visit two major coastal locations: Praia da Barra and Praia da Costa Nova do Prado.
Visit Aveiro's Best Beaches
The beaches are a significant attraction in northern Portugal. We will meet at Rua de João Mendoça at the scheduled time to board a minibus to begin our tour.
Our first stop will be Praia da Costa Nova do Prado, recognized for its colourful coquette-style houses and extensive beach along the Atlantic, making it a popular summer destination.
Next, we will visit Praia da Barra, known for its red and white lighthouse and tranquil waters, offering a pleasant experience along its wooden walkways.
The tour also includes a visit to the salt mines, the University, and the Maritime Port, providing insights into the region's history and coastal legends.
After 75 minutes of exploration, we will return to the starting point to conclude the tour.
