Aveiro Wine Tasting

Doing this wine tasting in Aveiro you'll learn to differentiate and pick out the nuances of the wines from the north of Portugal. We'll taste 3 types of wine!

Description

At the indicated time we'll start our Portuguese wine tasting at Entre Copos e Chávenas, right in the centre of Aveiro.

For 45 minutes, we'll take a sensory journey through the oenological tradition of northern Portugal, tasting 3 glasses of Port wine with different flavours and aromas. We'll taste the Porto Dry White with cured cheese, the Porto Ruby with chocolate, and the Porto Tawny with nuts.

We'll explore the contrasts between a dry white, a Ruby and a Tawny. The Tawny comes from red grapes and is aged in barrels or oak casks for years, while Ruby wines are primarily aged in glass bottles for 1 to 3 years.

During this experience, an expert will guide you to appreciate the most characteristic features of each wine. You will learn to distinguish their main characteristics, becoming knowledgeable at the end of the tasting.
