After meeting up at the Jardim do Rossio, we'll start with a ride in a Moliceiro boat through the channels of Aveiro. These low-draft boats are suitable for navigating narrow channels.

During the crossing, we'll view the Art Nouveau-style buildings of the old town, enhanced by Portuguese tiles including the notable old railway station of Aveiro.

Next, we'll take a panoramic tour of the Salinas de Aveiro, learning about the historical importance of salt to the city’s economy.

We will then visit Costa Nova to explore its notable beaches, including Praia da Costa Nova with its colourful fishermen's houses, and Praia do Paredão Barra, where we'll see a lighthouse guiding ships along the coast.
