Provence Tour & Wine Tasting

On this tour of Provence, we'll visit Châteauneuf du Pape, Roussillon, and Gordes. We'll also enjoy a local wine tasting.

Description

We'll begin by gathering at 41 Cours Jean Jaurès in Avignon and set off towards Châteauneuf du Pape. Here, we'll explore two wineries, with selections varying based on availability and season. Indulge in the region's wines during our tastings.

Following the wine adventure, you can buy lunch at the second winery if you wish. Our journey continues to Roussillon, known for its captivating views as part of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Enjoy some free time to explore the village's viewpoints.

We will then view the iconic Pont Julien, an ancient Roman bridge. Next, we visit Lacoste, where the exterior of the Marquis de Sade's castle can be admired.

Our tour culminates with a brief stop in Gordes, allowing time to capture the medieval village's charm. Finally, we will return to Avignon, arriving back approximately 10 hours after the initial pickup.
