Provence Tour & Wine Tasting

On this tour of Provence, we'll visit Châteauneuf du Pape, Roussillon, and Gordes. We'll also enjoy a local wine tasting.

Description

We'll begin by gathering at 41 Cours Jean Jaurès in Avignon and set off towards Châteauneuf du Pape. In this village, we'll explore two wineries, where the selection may vary based on availability and season, with wine tastings reflecting the region's offerings.

After the tastings, you can purchase lunch at the second winery if desired. Our journey continues to Roussillon, part of the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of France. Here, you will have free time to explore Roussillon's viewpoints.

Next, we'll view the Pont Julien, an ancient Roman bridge, offering a great photo opportunity. We'll also stop in Lacoste to see the exterior of the Marquis de Sade's castle.

Finally, we'll make a brief stop in Gordes to experience the medieval village and take photos. We'll return to Avignon approximately 10 hours after the initial pickup.
