Description
We will meet at the tourist office in Avignon and proceed to the Pont du Gard, the largest and most significant aqueduct bridge of the Roman Empire, dating back to the 1st century AD. This site is a remarkable example of ancient Roman engineering, and you will learn about its importance while taking photographs of the surroundings.
Next, our route will take us to Les Baux, a medieval village located in the Alpilles mountain range. It is recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France. You will have one hour of free time to explore and visit sites such as the Chateaux des Baux fortified castle.
Finally, we will visit Saint Rémy, an area favored by artists in southern France. We will stroll around the historic center and see notable sights within this charming Provencal town.
After a five-hour trip, we will return to the starting point.
