Description
We will meet at the tourist office in Avignon and proceed to the Pont du Gard, the largest Roman aqueduct bridge, dating back to the 1st century AD. This structure represents a significant achievement in ancient Roman engineering, and you will have the opportunity to learn about its history and take photographs of the area.
Next, we will visit Les Baux, a medieval village in the Alpilles mountain range, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in France. You will have one hour of free time to explore the village and visit sites like the Chateaux des Baux fortified castle.
Finally, we will explore Saint Rémy, a town favored by artists in southern France. We will walk through the historic center and view some of its notable landmarks.
After a five-hour journey, we will return to the starting point.
