Explore Ávila in a comfortable way aboard a tuk tuk that will take you to its main monuments, including the church of Santa Teresa, the Cathedral, and the city walls.

Tour Description

We'll meet at your preferred time at San Segundo street, near the cathedral of Ávila. Prepare to tour this World Heritage city by tuk tuk.

During the route, we’ll visit historical buildings with short stops for photos. Recorded commentary in English will provide interesting facts and legends about the locations.

We will navigate the old town, passing the Plaza de Santa Teresa, Torreón de los Guzmanes, and the convent of Santa Teresa until reaching the Los Cuatro Postes shrine, a monument from 1566, which offers a panoramic view of the walls of Ávila.

Afterward, we'll continue past the hermitage of San Segundo, Arco del Carmen, and the basilica of San Vicente. Finally, we will return to the starting point after 35 minutes of sightseeing.

For an extended experience, you can book the 1-hour tour. This includes all prior sights plus visits to the Basílica de la Santa, the old birthplace of Saint Teresa, Lienzo Norte de la Muralla Viewpoint, and the monastery of the Encarnación.

We will see the courtyard of the old house of Saint Teresa and the room where she was born, including her relics, featuring the famous uncorrupted finger of the saint.
