On this excursion to the Collpa thermal baths and the Paqchaccucha waterfall, you'll enjoy a circuit of saltwater and freshwater surrounded by the landscapes of the Acos Vinchos district.

Collpa Thermal Baths & Paqchaccucha Waterfall Excursion

At 8 am, we'll meet at the Plaza de Armas in Ayacucho, departing to the Collpa thermal baths as our first destination.

The natural pools are popular among locals for relaxation and enjoyment with friends and family. During the 1-hour journey, we will appreciate the landscapes of the Acos Vinchos district and its adobe houses.

Upon reaching the Collpa thermal baths, situated on a mineral-rich surface, the land is unsuitable for cultivation, enhancing the medicinal properties of the underground springs.

Afterward, we will visit the Paqchaccucha waterfall and engage in a 15-minute hike. At this natural site, you can swim in the freshwater falls.

Finally, we will return to Ayacucho, arriving back at the departure point around 3 pm.
