This ticket permits you to visit the Azay-le-Rideau castle, positioned on an island in the Indre River and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can investigate various rooms, including the Biencourt Room and the bedroom of Phillippe Lesbahy, spouse of the castle's first owner from the 16th century.

Opening Times

The Azay-le-Rideau castle operates under the following schedule:

From September 1 to September 30: 9:30 am to 6 pm.From October 1 to March 31: 10 am to 5:15 pm.From April 1 to June 30: 9:30 am to 6 pm.From July 1 to August 31: 9:30 am to 7 pm.

On December 24 and December 31, the castle will close at 4 pm. The last admission is one hour before closing.

Free admission to the Castle of Azay-le-Rideau is available for:

EU residents aged 18 to 25.Children under 18 regardless of nationality.

Free entry is also granted on the first Sunday of the month from January 1 to March 31 and November 1 to December 31, as well as on the third weekend of September. To obtain free admission, visit the ticket office and present a valid document confirming eligibility.
