First, we'll visit the archaeological site of Dzibanché, considered one of the most important Mayan cities in the south. Its origins date back to 200 BC. You will see various temples and the lush jungle environment. There is a possibility of spotting howler monkeys and different exotic birds.
Afterwards, we will proceed to the archaeological site of Kohunlich, which is a Mayan ceremonial center featuring several architectural complexes. We will walk through the acropolis to reach the Temple of the Masks, showcasing five figures representing aspects of Mayan ceremonial life. Other notable sites include the Temple of the 27 Steps.
