Lake Bacalar Sailboat Cruise
We will meet at your chosen time at the dock on Avenida 5 to board a new sailboat for a journey across Lake Bacalar, known as the Lake of the Seven Colors.
During the tour, we will visit Cenote Esmeralda, which resembles a Caribbean beach with fine sand. The lake's various colors are due to the presence of calcium and sulfur found underground, giving this freshwater lake its appearance.
We will also pass by Cenote Negro, Cenote Azul, Birds Island, and the stromatolite area. While enjoying the landscapes, you can taste guacamole along with water and beer aboard the sailboat.
Additionally, we will explore the mangrove area, home to red, white, and button mangroves, which provide refuge for animals like hawks. After three and a half hours of sailing, we will return to the starting point and conclude the activity.
