Lake Bacalar Sailboat Cruise

We will meet at your preferred time at the dock on Avenida 5 to board a new sailboat and embark on a journey through Lake Bacalar, known as the Lake of the Seven Colors.

Throughout the tour, we will visit Cenote Esmeralda, a picturesque area reminiscent of a Caribbean beach with fine sand. The lake's various colors are attributed to calcium and sulfur present underground, which contribute to its marine-like appearance.

We will also pass by Cenote Negro, Cenote Azul, Birds Island, and the stromatolite area. While enjoying the beautiful landscapes, you can taste guacamole with water and beer aboard the sailboat.

The exploration includes a visit to the mangrove area, where we will observe three types: red, white, and button mangroves, which provide habitat for wildlife, including hawks.

After three and a half hours of sailing, we will return to the starting point, concluding the activity.
