Torreparedones Archaeological Park Tour

At the designated time, we will collect you from the Núñez de Prado Almazara, located at 2 Avenida Francisco Núñez de Prado. From this central point in Baena, journey to the Torreparedones Archaeological Park, situated on the outskirts. Together with your guide, you will venture into this significant area to unearth the remnants of the various civilizations that thrived here millennia ago.

Throughout the excursion, we will explore the multiple periods this site has witnessed, ranging from the Copper Age to the Middle Ages. Did you know that this settlement flourished during the height of the Roman Empire? You will observe the Roman road, the foundations of ancient walls, and an array of remarkable sculptures.

As we stroll the grounds, we’ll discuss the various structures that made up this site, such as the forum, baths, marketplace, and necropolis, each serving its distinct purpose. Additionally, you will see the remains of the medieval castle built by King Alfonso X and a hermitage dating back to the 16th century. Prepare to capture countless photos!

Upon completing our visit to the significant areas of the Torreparedones site, we will return you to the meeting point in Baena, approximately 3.5 hours after the initial pickup.
