Baeza Tourist Train
The route starts inPlaza de los Leones, featuring the Carnicerías Públicas, the Clerkship, and the Civil High Court, along with the Villalar Arch, the Azacaya Gate, and Los Leones Fountain. The train proceeds to Plaza de España.
The tour approaches the old walls near the clock tower and the Úbeda Gate, offering views of the Guadalquivir Valley, which inspired poet Antonio Machado.
The journey continues through medieval streets to Plaza de Santa María, showcasing the Santa María Fountain, the San Felipe Neri Seminary, and the San Isidoro and Nuestra Señora de la Natividad Cathedral.
The final segment includes the Jabalquinto Palace and the historical 18th-century university, concluding back at Plaza de los Leones.
Times and Frequency
The train operates daily, departing every 45 minutes from Plaza de los Leones. Ticket holders can board during the following times:
July to August: 11:15 am - 1:30 pm & 5 - 8 pm.Rest of the year: 11:15 am - 1:30 pm & 4:15 - 6 pm, no service Sunday afternoon. In winter, the last departure is at 6:30 pm.Christmas period: 11:15 am - 1:30 pm & 4:15 pm - 5 pm.
The ride lasts approximately 30 minutes, starting and finishing in the same location.
Changes in the itinerary
If a minimum of 9 participants is not reached, the tour will proceed on an electric bus instead of the tourist train.
