Mount St. Helens Day Trip

On our Mount St. Helens Day Trip from Seattle, we'll follow the course of the Toutle River and admire this stratovolcano in Skamania County. We'll take in the scenery from Johnston Ridge and have an unforgettable day.

Mount St. Helens Day Trip

At 7:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Seattle and set off southbound towards Mount St. Helens. Our journey to the Mount St. Helens National Monument will take around 3 hours. On the way, we'll stop at either the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge or the Lewis & Clark State Park for breakfast.

Upon arrival, we'll take a short hike to explore the area. Walking along the banks of the Toutle River, we'll observe the scenery, shaped by the volcanic eruption of 1980.

At 1:30 pm, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch with views of Mount St. Helens. Afterwards, we'll visit the Johnston Ridge Visitors Centre for more stunning perspectives of the volcano. We'll return to your hotel in Seattle, with the trip concluding at 7:30 pm.
