With this boat ticket to Ons Island, you'll set sail from Baiona to one of the main enclaves of the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. You'll fall in love with its stunning landscapes.
Boat to Ons Island
At the indicated time we'll set sail by ferry from the port of Baiona towards the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia. The journey includes viewing the Cíes Islands and famous Rodas beach from the ferry. The crossing takes around an hour and 15 minutes, leading into the Pontevedra estuary, home to Ons Island. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day free to explore the island's natural environment, relax on its beaches, or hike one of its four trails, including the one to the Ons lighthouse.
At the specified time, we'll meet again at the dock of Ons Island to begin the return trip to Baiona.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Ons Island is a protected area with a daily quota of visitors. You must have authorization from the Xunta de Galicia to access the island. During high season (May 15 to September 15 and Holy Week), you must bring your authorization, sent via email prior to your visit. At other times of the year, the guide will have the authorization. If someone cannot attend, you must give a 15-day notice with their name to remove them from the list.
Ons Island Guided Visit
From October 1 to May 14 (excluding the Friday before to Resurrection Sunday), the ferry ticket includes a 1-hour guided visit around the island.
Return Schedule
The ferry will return from Ons Island at 6 pm. Your ticket allows for same-day return. For returns on different days, please contact us.
