With this boat ticket to Ons Island, you'll set sail from Baiona to the National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia.
Boat to Ons Island
We'll set sail by ferry from the port of Baiona. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes as we navigate the Vigo estuary and pass by notable sites like San Martiño, Montefaro, and Monteagudo. Although we won't stop at the Cíes Islands, you can view Rodas beach from the boat. Upon arrival at Ons, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore its natural environment, have lunch, relax on beaches, or hike one of its four trails, including one leading to the Ons lighthouse. We will reconvene at the dock for the return trip to Baiona.
Authorization to visit Ons Island
Access to Ons Island requires authorization due to a daily visitor quota. During the high season (May 15 to September 15 and Holy Week), you must have your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia. An email will be sent to you for this purpose. Off-season, the guide will provide it. If you cannot attend, inform us at least 15 days in advance with the individual's name to be removed from the list.
