If you plan to return another day, indicate this during booking. If camping on the islands, obtain prior authorization from the Xunta de Galicia.

Guided tours in low season

During low season (October 1 - May 14), the ticket to the Cíes Islands includes a 1-hour guided tour. Visiting the islands independently during this season is prohibited. The guide will join the boat trip from the departing port, showing you highlights upon docking at the Cíes pier and sharing information about the history, plants, and wildlife.

This tour is not available during the 10 days of Easter Week, as this is considered high season.

Authorization from the Xunta de Galicia

During peak season (May 15 - September 30, and Easter week), you must bring your own authorization from the Xunta de Galicia for access. This will be sent by email after reservation. For the rest of the year, the guide will carry it on tour day.

Authorization for campers

If you stay at a campsite on the Cíes Islands, the campsite must process the authorization, or cancel it if needed. To cancel your trip, contact the campsite first, confirm the authorization cancellation, and then reach out to the shipping company within the refund period to cancel your boat tickets.

Further, once an authorization is linked to a shipping company, it cannot be transferred. Therefore, canceling your reservation requires canceling the authorization and processing a new one.
