Visit a captivating city on the Silk Road with this 2-day private tour of Sheki. You'll also enjoy a unique experience sleeping in a traditional caravanserai.

Tour Details

Day 1

After meeting at Baku City's Tour Office, we will travel to Sheki, stopping at Shamakhi to visit the Juma Mosque, an 8th-century temple. Next, we will proceed to Lake Nohur for an hour of free time. Afterward, we'll head to Sheki at 2:30 pm for a traditional Azerbaijani dish, the piti.

We will then explore Sheki, including the Palace of the Kanes with its ornate tiles. We will conclude our day staying at a traditional Caravanserai, significant for travelers on the Silk Road.

Day 2

At 10 am, we will depart from the Caravanserai to visit Kish, where we will see a 12th-century Albanian church and a silk factory. We will later travel to Baku, with a stop in Gabala for lunch on your own (not included).

We will return to the meeting point in Baku around 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night's accommodation in an 18th-century Caravanserai, a historical monument. Rooms are available as single, double, or triple, with private bathrooms.
