Private Sheki 2 Day Tour

Visit a captivating city on the Silk Road with this 2-day private tour of Sheki. You'll also enjoy a unique experience sleeping in a traditional caravanserai.

Tour Details

Day 1

After meeting at the designated time at Baku City's Tour Office, we will depart for Sheki. First, we'll stop in Shamakhi to visit the Juma Mosque, an 8th-century temple that has seen various reconstructions. Next, we will proceed to Lake Nohur for one hour of free time to enjoy this natural setting. We will continue to Sheki at 2:30 pm, where we will enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani dish: the piti.

Afterward, we will explore Sheki's attractions, including the ornate Palace of the Kanes. Later, we will stay overnight in a traditional Caravanserai, historically significant as accommodations along the Silk Road.

Day 2

At 10 am, we will leave the Caravanserai to visit Kish, a nearby village. Here, we will see a 12th-century Albanian church and a prominent silk factory. We will then make our way to Baku, stopping in Gabala for lunch on your own (not included).

We will return to the capital of Azerbaijan, arriving back at the meeting point around 8 pm.

Accommodation

This tour includes one night's accommodation in an 18th-century Caravanserai, declared a historical monument. The rooms are available as single, double, or triple, with private bathrooms.
