Blumenau & Ilhota Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Balneario Camboriú at 8 am. We will drive to Ilhota and Blumenau, cities founded by settlers from Central Europe.
After about half an hour's drive, we will reach Ilhota, our first stop. This settlement is one of the few in Brazil colonized by Belgians. We will discover the history of this town, its unique architecture, and its role in the textile industry.
Next, we will drive to Blumenau, known as the beer capital of Brazil. We will walk around this town established by German settlers in the 19th century, who built their homes in the style of central European architecture. The historic centre is notable.
We will learn about the German customs in Blumenau as we explore its streets and visit the Beer Museum or the Cemetery of Cats. Additionally, we will visit a craft brewery to understand the beer production process.
Finally, we will return to your hotel in Balneario Camboriú, concluding the excursion at 4 pm.
